While technically not quite spring, it may as well have been in Dallas in mid-March as the Dallas Bears pulled off a successful event, my first trip back in several years. This nice weather set the stage for a fun weekend with over 800 bears from around the country and even worldwide. Obviously good weather brought the bears of winter out early from hibernation finding fun at the new (and improved) hotel site with their indoor pool and 2nd floor level setting for registration, hospitality suite and vendor market. Dallas' gay district at the Crossroads provided additional entertainment with its nearby bars, restaurants with outdoor seating and shopping opportunities.
