Some call them  Muscle Bears; I like the name Power Bearz.  And while I have seen many of these same guys at Bear events, Beefy Boyz on the Road in Palm Springs brought out more of that Power Bear crowd and their friends for a sunny December weekend in the desert.  Sponsored by The Beefy Boyz and Castro Bear Presents this is the first of what promises to be a number of 'On The Road' events.  Saturday night PapiNPup also co-hosted the SWEAT dance .  While the dance was the main reason I was down there as ShutterBear, I also took numerous  photos around the pool at the host hotel All Worlds as well as the bear busts at The Barracks and Sidewinders.  My local friend Michael and I also did a tour of Indian Canyons which features a number of natural oases festooned with sturdy palm trees and sycamore surrounded by craggy rock prominences.  Oh, by the way, it was all great fun and a respite from the rain back home.
